Our North Shields Smart Home underwent major renovations and was completed in phases to ensure that they had a liveable space while the rest of the work was being done. The bottom floor was given priority, while the upper floors and bedrooms would be finished later. The client's main focus was on audio and automated window treatments, given the stunning rear windows leading to the garden area. Additionally, a bespoke cinema room was installed and featured prominently in its own case study page.
The client also wanted security systems and requested CCTV coverage around the entire property, as well as a video intercom on the front door to grant access to guests while they were away. To make the most of the outdoor space, we installed speakers above the rear patio and added lighting to create a cozy atmosphere for summer evenings. Video and audio distribution were also essential for the main living space in the North Shields Smart Home, with a Samsung Frame TV integrated seamlessly into the living room and ceiling speakers installed throughout the home for music.
The kitchen/dining room also features LED strips to illuminate shelving, wall sconces and pendants to highlight art work as well as a ducted AC system that blends into the ceiling without altering the aesthetics of the space.
Overall, the North Shields Smart Home is an incredible living space, with discrete tech, tailored to the family's lifestyle. We are currently working on phase two of the upper floors and will continue to update this case study as the work progresses.
