This Norfolk Smart home is owned by a technology enthusiast, a busy businessman, and single father of two boys. He had a clear vision for his home and sought a system with ease of control and remote access while at work. Despite already having Niko "smart lighting," he found the installed system lacking in the features he required. 

After following us on social media and comparing our work to other installers, the client found Art of Smart to be the only choice. The project was divided into three phases to ensure the client had minimal disruptions to his and his boys daily life.

During phase 1, we removed the old AV installation and installed a prebuilt rack with Control4 processors and a managed network. Then added Wi-Fi access points to provide coverage throughout the home and garden. We also replaced all speakers and installed a simple-to-use music system in every room. To provide an on-screen displays, we added an EA1 to every TV and replaced the existing remotes with Control4 SR260 remotes. The CCTV system and lighting system were also replaced. 

In phase 2, we upgraded the heating controls, added a video intercom, integrated motion sensors and the alarm system, and upgraded the cinema room lighting with RGBW colour-changing LED and illuminated poster frames. 

In phase 3, we replaced the outside lights and added garage door integration. The client expressed his satisfaction with the Control4 system and shared his happiness in a client interview video featured at the bottom of this page. 

We are happy to say we delivered a retrofit project that met the client's needs and exceeded his expectations.

Over time he has added more upgrades to the property upgrading from the Control4 EA-5 to the CA-10 to completely future proof his home. We love the modern look of our Norfolk Smart Home and keep in close contact with the client.
