Art of Smart specialises in Smart Home Installation and was established in 2017 by its Managing Director, Rich Heppell. In only five years, the company has expanded to a team of 10 with a nationwide network of over 200 partner companies, all of which have received training and approval from our in-house training program, AOS Academy. Our Partners collaborate with us on projects, which benefits our clients by maintaining high quality standards while utilising local labour, keeping costs competitive.

After working in the electrical industry for 11 years, Rich transitioned to smart home installation and focused on mastering a single system - Control4. Art of Smart's expertise with Control4 was recognised early on in the business journey when they won Control4 Circle of Excellence Award in 2019. Since then AOS has also consistently won Control4 awards, including being named the highest volume partner in 2020. In 2022 Art of Smart went on to win Control4's partner of the year. Additionally, Art of Smart is a Diamond Dealer for Control4 only dropping to gold in 2021 while we focussed our companies efforts on building our in house training school during the pandemic. 

Rich has built the business on reputation and employing people that share the same vision. We aim to set the standard for our industry with a focus on quality, user experience and always going the extra mile.

During the COVID pandemic, Art of Smart opened its first in house Training Academy. A long-time vision come reality, AOS Academy ensures standards are harmonious across projects, allowing us to bring value to our new and existing clients no matter where they are in the country. This strengthens our offering by building an unparalleled support network.
