We had Pete in on a tester day for our junior designer role recently.

We’ve been on the look out for another designer to add to the team to work on CAD, design work and estimating along side our designer Danny.

We’ve had an absolutely crazy couple of months of enquiries with people planning projects and are quoting up to a million pounds worth of projects PER WEEK at the minute - some awesome projects coming up.

I appreciate everyone that recommends AOS for projects. 🙏🏻

Called in to see one of our good clients this even

Called in to see one of our good clients this evening to discuss a couple of upcoming projects.

Added a schedule on to their external lighting that’s just been completed to automatically come on at sun set and then go off just before midnight.

However then added in a bit of custom programming to bring the external lighting to 50% if the front gate is opened during the night 😀

With smart lighting when we run a schedule such as “sun set” the smart home will get a weather report daily based on the post code, and the time that runs will update minute by minute as the year goes on.

In summer this may be 9pm however in the winter in couple be 4pm. The system will just automatically update the schedule.

This is particularly useful for external lighting and window treatments.

He went to do a final measure up at one of our current projects in Mobberly, Cheshire - made detailed notes and measurements on his company iPad Pro before cutting and soldering tails onto all the tapes today with Mikey and Shaun ready for installation this week.

About 200m of RGBW LED strip going into this one all in, DMX controlled in a mixture of plaster in profiles and coffers.

The house in Milton Keynes also comes complete with a garden cinema! (As well as the one in the property).
Gorgeous little outdoor space that is connected to the house @hdanywhere video distribution system meaning the new owners get access to Sky, Apple TV & Netflix etc in the veranda.

We also added a pakedge high power outdoor access point so they client could get WiFi to his Traeger Smoker 😅😍

Lovely hospitality today whilst handing a home over to its new owner.

Whilst you could remove all technology when moving home, it’s becoming such a selling point that most home owners actually opt to keep it. This new home owner opted to buy it including all TVs too which made our life very easy 😅

@taylorwalsh_mk recently sold this property in Milton Keynes that was owned by one of our very good clients and friends.

We called over today to hand it over to the new owner to get them comfortable with the system discuss potential upgrades that could enhance their user experience. We also reset all system passwords and get them set up on their phones and devices.

Unfortunately BT have messed up broadband, luckily we carry 4G routers with sim cards on all AOS vehicles so we have loaned them one until they’re sorted so they can get internet and access to streaming music and Netflix Etc 😊

This service is a complimentary service from AOS. If you ever sell a property with one of our systems in, we will meet the new owner and hand everything over as a professional courtesy. One less weight off your shoulders when moving home, and also ensuring the new owner is comfortable and gets the most out of the system 😊

Lutron integration complete at this project in Harpenden.

We took it over before lock down, then upgraded the cinema room, called back “after” lock down to finalise the cinema room and now back doing the Lutron integration of 130 lighting circuits in the house into the Control4 system.

This really should have been done when the install was done originally 6+ years ago, however all sorted now.

Also added a little bit of custom programming to change the volume announcements on the Video Door bell. Can either be off, quiet or loud 😁

When we did that system fix up we didn’t change the main processor HC800 (no real need) - however the clients asked about speeding the app up so looking at a CA10 upgrade! He’s also planning on ditching Sky due to the way his family consume content so no doubt back at this one again soon.

Andddddd we are finally done.

The WORST takeover/ upgrade (lol) we have ever done.

Been a nightmare, there was no surprise things weren’t working right before. It’s taken twice as long as was planned for due to us wanting to get it up to our standards.

Been the third company on site, company one making a mess, and company 2 making it worse - the only thing for it was to strip the lot out rack and both lighting panels and then completely rebuild them.

AV rack was taken back to our rack build lab and rebuilt before being delivered back to site and plugged into the infrastructure that has now been all tested, labelled and documented.

There’s going to be some more bits to add over the coming weeks such as proper keypad engravings (that we have temporarily labelled for now) however it’s now back in.

Well done to all the team for their hard work decrypting they old mess and getting it right again 🙌🏻#DreamTeam

House is making good progress, however check those CGIs! Outdoor TV area, swimming pool and fire pit. HOUSE GOALS.

Using our extensive project experience we come up with a design to help the cinema/ gym/ bar that opens up to the garden seating area have a nicer flow to help them make the best use of the space. We don’t just design smart homes, we can have an input on your home too 😅

Smashing clients, the clients wife has already offered to do a client YouTube video once complete 😅

Spec to nail down over the coming weeks but due on site December. @t.and.a.projectsltd is doing all electrical work and AV first fix, working along side is to do the AV second fix and get this smart home the perfect family home.
